Thanks Steg! You guys all did this one so fast!
Hey, at least you didn't come up with ABBA.
ABBA? What's ABBA? Is that like OrthoDad? ;-)
hhuqot ha’umot
You mean חקות הגוי. It's a verse in Vayyiqro 20:23.
What is an mp3 player?
Love how eclectic your list is!
TuMC has similar taste. Mad Props.
Back of the hill is correct; MP3 players are chukot hagoyim.
Mar:
who says i was quoting that pasuq? ;-)
tBotH:
it's a computer program that plays MP3 files. i've heard of people carrying around shiny little boxes and calling them mp3 players but that's obviously a dirty sleight-of-hand trick.
MCAryeh & TuMChic:
thanks!
Jameel:
oh go back to your muqaat‘a, mr. chukot hagoyim :-P
Do you have Tropical Lazor Beams?
Habib:
interesting!
I wonder how that thing went.
HsychoRoddler:
Nope, i do not. And they frighten me. I have a bunch of songs and i'm not sure where exactly they're from, or where i got them from. They might be from the CD... "Different Town", though, comes straight from a sbemail, though!
Steg, no access to your e-mail from work (I'm not set up for Outlook here). So this is your weekly Radio Reminder--Fudge's show starts in 15 minutes! Eek--I'm outta here!
THANK YOU SO MUCH SHIRA!!!
Unfortunately i'm about to head upstate for Shabbos, so i'll be in transit and unable to listen. Sorry Fudge!
