My Fifteen Minutes of [Vicarious] Fame

Or maybe that should be "Fame-By-Association"

I'd like to thank the academy my rav, AMCHA and the other protestors (including Rabbi Ankcorn and Yonah Berman), New York's Finest, my fellow members of the Press, Jewschool, Greg, DovBear, LGF (and all their friends), the Back of the Hill, MoChassid, and everyone else who linked up or commented (or, as my stats indicate, emailed a link to their friends!). As well as Casio and, of course, the Creator of Worlds.

We now return to our regularly-scheduled obscurity.   ;-)

In case you missed it, the post that hit the big time was:
MASS RABBINIC ARREST

Holy Cow, those are some nice numbers. I'm enheartened to see that original reporting can still garner attention such as this.

Also, it looks like right wing politics is still a more fertile market than rabbinic abuse. ;)

the door of my opportunity was left wide open by all the real media people being kept busy with the bigger stories; if this were reported in the NYTimes, i'm sure my pictures'd just be a blip in the radar

wow. where'd that all come from?

but awesome. I wish more people read my blog. Then again, I'd have to update way more than I do now...

i'm not greedy or anything (well, maybe i am). i still don't get the ratio of readers to commenters.

knitter:

it all came from the MASS RABBINIC ARREST post being picked up by LGF and other right wing political blogs, in addition to my self-aggrandizing notifications of Jewschool, Jewlicious, and DovBear.

impressive, but I would have liked to see your hourly numbers even more.

Now those would have been interesting. So sad you didn't get a picture of them.

It was a good post. I don't have time to read the comments but I hear what you're saying about the ritualistic aspect. However, the tallitot do seem a little OTT.

Also, I'm not sure how clever it is to want Iran expelled from the UN etc. These guys are lawless enough already. If we take away their last legal ties to the rest of the nations then for them,it will be a case of "anything goes"...Instead let us bring them to trial before a court of justice.

sorry about that. but that would've been a lot of pictures, i think.

OTT?
you really should read the comments; if i remember correctly, the issues you bring up about the use-value of their stated goal was brough up and discussed there.

That graph shows that many of your readers are shomrei shabbes.

It also implies that they have nothing to do on motzi.
