الحمد لله

A: "How was lunch with Mike Miller and Jameel?"
B: "Alħamduliláh!"

So I go to meet up with the famous جميل رشيد from المقاطعة for lunch today (remember, this is Palest— Israel time) and what do I find but not only an American ‘oleh blogger with the sketchy Arabic name of Jameel Rashid, but also the famous commentor and Avodah contributor Mike Miller! And we had lunch. And it was good.

There were no (barukh Hashem) political debates, but we did discuss blogs. And bloggers. So yes, we were talking about you. And we traded much confidential information. But don't worry, ג'מיל, they can't make me talk!

Or am I just not talking because Jameel has a gun too?

As long as you don't post any pictures, no one will get hurt.

What do you mean, Jameel?! We already know what you look like! Your face is plastered in almost every AIM convo and on millions of T-shirts.

Steg - whatever happened to that blogger checklist? :)

My pictures are real film, not diggital, so if you're looking for pictures of you up here you may have to wait until at least i get back to the States and get these rolls developed, sorry about that.

Don't worry, i wouldn't want to blow your pseudonymous cover ;-) .

Not related to this post at all:

Looking through all of your links- the fact that you link to "All your Beis" makes you the awesomest person ever, though I don't know how you guys would know eachother, or even if you do, for that matter.

Wait - how'd you spell my name?! It looks close, but off... :)

I'm not sure why we haven't met yet - I'm right here in Queens...! And s'ok, I was just wondering what happened to it. Maybe just leave it as an old old post and update it when you meet people - then provide a link. Less work!

مر جبريال

Israelis pronounce it that way for some reason... At least a few years ago i remember hearing the "j" in digital and the initial "gg" in gigabyte being switched.

Thanks! I don't remember how i came across his blog, but it looked good so i added it.
