Rabbi Student predicted that it would be non-controversial.
President Butler predicted that it would be very controversial.
I didn't make it.
Went to a friend's play reading instead.
Anyone who was there care to comment?
Rabbi Maryles (who doesn't live in the area) is also looking to debrief an agent.
And of course the Godol Hador gets more responses than both of us put together...

Word on the street is that apart from R. Aharon Schechter calling Rabbi Slifkin an upstart it wasn't very controversial.
Is the word on the street coming from the main event or the student event beforehand?
the student event beforehand was quite controversial; dealing with a host of many issues -- Rav Aharon Schechter calling Rabbi Slifkin an upstart was the least of 'em... there was both a video and MP3 recording....
where can people get ahold of these video and/or mp3 recordings?
Yes, I would like a copy of the recording too...I'll even host it :)
